The ZTE blade for instance goes for a price of Ugx 399,000 without a contract. However, you can also get the device without upfront costs. But be ready to commit to paying Ugx 65,000/month for one year. You’ll also be given 1.5GB/month for an entire year when you buy the smartphone on contract. It’s something similar to what Africell Uganda is doing with iDroid USA’s Royal V4.
